The AEP team of AAESS Accredited Exercise Physiologists up until its establishment were for years employed by the Royal Adelaide Hospital. This experience, a modern fully equipped facility, the latest in testing and reporting software and the means to also be mobile, provides a vast array of clientele with a complete range of professional health and fitness services.

Reuben Vanderzalm, Director

Reuben is one of the two directors of Adelaide Exercise Physiology. He left his position at the RAH in June 2006 to establish AEP. Reuben is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with years of experience working with patients suffering from any one or combination of chronic diseases. Reuben has worked extensively in the areas of obesity, end stage renal disease, and has an interest in diabetes prevention and maintenance.

Chris Ftinogiannis, Director

Chris is one of the directors of Adelaide Exercise Physiology. He left his position at the RAH in June 2006 to establish AEP. Chris is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with extensive knowledge in exercise therapy as a mode of treatment for patients suffering from chronic conditions and diseases. Chris has a special interest in physical rehabilitation and cardiac rehabilitation, overseeing the cardiac rehabilitation programs conducted at AEP.

Sara Slayman, staff

Sara is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and was selected as the AEP graduate trainee at the beginning of 2007. In this time she has been busy obtaining a broad knowledge in the industry with the predominant focus on chronic disease management. Sara undertakes much of AEP's regional Exercise Physiology work and has a special interest in the areas of weight loss along with undertaking health and fitness / functional assessments.

Skye is the most recent Exercise Physiologist to join the AEP team.
