AEP Dietitian Services provide treatment interventions in the area of chronic disease management, complex care needs, and offer Diet and Menu Analysis under the Repatriation Commission and the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission, through their administrative arm, the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
Our Accredited Practising Dietitian can assist with a range of health and medical conditions including:
- Diabetes Management
- Weight Management
- Osteoporosis
- High Cholesterol
- Hypertension
- Nutritional deficiencies
- Eating disorders
- Allergy and Intolerance
- Gastro intestinal disorders
Patients who are eligible for Dietitian services under the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) are holders of a DVA:
•Gold Card; or
•White Card (referral must state that dietitian services will assist in the management of the specific condition for which the card was issued).
In order for card holders to commence with Adelaide Exercise Physiology with no out of pocket expense, a GP or Specialist referral is required. Once a referral is obtained, patients should simply contact AEP central reception to schedule an appointment with the Dietitian at their nearest clinic location. |
